1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and VL Cattles and Farmers Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website and the purchase of our A2 milk, its derivative products and delivery services.
By accessing or using our Website, placing an order, or engaging with our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use this Website and purchase our products.
3. Product Description and Representation
We manufacture and supply raw, unpasteurized, and chilled A2 milk, along with paneer, ghee, and other dairy products made from A2 milk (“our products”) under the brand name “Cattle Co.”. Our products are sourced exclusively from certified A2 cow breeds, namely Gir, Sahiwal, Hallikar, and other recognized indigenous breeds known for producing milk that contains only the A2 beta-casein protein.
We are committed to deliver fresh, high-quality products that are free from A1 protein, ensuring better digestibility and nutritional benefits for users.
Images of products displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive to represent colors as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will perfectly reflect the actual color of the items. As a result, your purchased items may vary slightly from the images shown.
All sizes and measurements provided are approximate, though we make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. We also take reasonable care to ensure that all product details, descriptions, and pricing are correct at the time of publication.
4. Product Availability
We are committed to maintaining a consistent supply of our products. However, the availability of our products may be influenced by several natural and operational factors beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, seasonal variations that affect milk yield and nutritional composition, herd health and well-being, which we prioritize to ensure ethical and sustainable dairy practices, and logistical constraints, such as delays due to adverse weather conditions, route disruptions, or unforeseen surges in demand etc.
5. Company’s Declaration
We genuinely believe in and actively promote the potential health benefits associated with the use of our products. Our offerings, including A2 milk and its derivative products, are crafted with care and are known to support overall wellness. However, the actual results and health outcomes may vary significantly from person to person. These benefits are influenced by several individual factors, including but not limited to lifestyle choices, existing health conditions, dietary habits, other personal routines and behaviours.
6. User Account and Responsibilities
To access certain features of our Website and to place orders, the User is required to create a personal account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your full name, valid contact number, and delivery address.
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
The User agrees to provide only truthful and accurate information when creating or updating your account. This includes ensuring that your contact details and delivery address are genuine and up to date. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Placing fake, fraudulent, or prank orders is strictly prohibited. Any such activity will result in immediate cancellation of the order, suspension of the associated account, and may lead to legal action. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any order or user information at our discretion.
By creating an account, the User provides consent to receive communications from us via email, SMS, or phone regarding your orders, deliveries, and promotional offers. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.
7. Orders and Payments
Orders placed through our Website or mobile application are subject to acceptance and product availability. Once an order is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgment via email or SMS.
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.
We accept payments via Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, etc.), Credit Card and Cash on Delivery (COD).
Users are required to make real-time payments. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the order. If the products have already been delivered, they must be returned.
8. Delivery Policy
Our products will be delivered to the address provided by the User at the time of placing the order, by our delivery personnel. It is the User’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address and contact details are accurate and complete. We will not be liable for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
The estimated delivery time is based on the distance between the User’s location and our distribution centre or godown. While we strive to deliver all orders promptly, actual delivery times may vary depending on the User’s proximity to our godown, traffic and weather conditions, volume of orders on a given day and availability of our delivery personnel.
Typically, deliveries within South Bengaluru are completed within 24 hours of order confirmation, while outer areas may take longer.
9. Returns and Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of milk, we do not accept returns once the product has been delivered. This policy ensures the safety, hygiene, and integrity of our products.
However, in exceptional circumstances where the product is found to be spoiled, contaminated, or the packaging is damaged at the time of delivery, we may offer a refund on a case-by-case basis. Such cases will be evaluated based on the evidence provided by the User.
To initiate a refund request, the User must submit the request within 24 hours of delivery, share clear photographs of the affected product and packaging and provide a detailed description of the issue, including any noticeable odor, discoloration, leakage, or damage.
Upon receiving the request, our team will review the submitted evidence. If the claim is found to be valid, we will approve the refund and notify the User accordingly. The approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days and will be credited to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the User’s preference and payment mode.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any Direct, Indirect, Incidental, Special, Punitive, or Consequential Damages arising out of or related to Your use of or inability to use the Website or Mobile Application, the purchase, use, or consumption of Our Products, delays, errors, or interruptions in service or delivery, any unauthorized access to or alteration of Your data or transmissions, and any other matter relating to Our Website access, Products, or Services.
Furthermore, while We adhere to strict hygiene and quality control standards in the production and delivery of Our Products, We do not make any medical claims or guarantees regarding the health benefits or suitability of Our Products for specific dietary or medical conditions (read with Company’s Declaration under Clause 5).
The Company shall not be liable for any health-related issues, allergic reactions, or adverse effects that may arise from the consumption of Our Products. Customers are advised to consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes or consuming dairy products, especially if they have known allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions.
Our total liability to You for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, or Our Products shall not exceed the amount paid by You for the specific Product or Service giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, including its employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from and against any and all third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising out of your use of this Website, your breach of these Terms, or infringement of any intellectual property rights.
12. Reserve Rights
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, or discontinue our products at any time without prior notice. This includes changes to product formulation, sourcing, packaging, labeling, and delivery schedules. Such modifications may be necessary to improve quality, comply with regulatory requirements, or respond to market conditions.
We also reserve the right to make changes to product specifications, packaging formats, and pricing without prior notice. These changes may reflect updates in production methods, ingredient sourcing, packaging materials, or cost structures. All such updates will be reflected on our Website and/or communicated through appropriate channels.
While we are not obligated to notify Users of every change, we will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of significant modifications that may affect product performance, availability, or pricing, especially in the case of subscription or recurring orders.
13. Intellectual Property
All content available on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, product descriptions, videos, icons, and layout, is the exclusive property of the Company and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and design laws.
